Dance Instructor-2024

The dance instructor is responsible for educating their students in the area of dance they are enrolled in. 

 Qualifications

Must have danced for a minimum period of five years. Must be currently certified in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain. Must be sixteen years of age (minimum). Must be approved by dance coordinator/ supervisor. Must have attended a convention for dance or higher education in dance. Must have at least two years experience assisting or the equivalent.

Essential functions

a).        Interact with students both verbally and physically.

b).        Interact with parents verbally.

c).        To provide a classroom environment that is both educational and entertaining for the students and parents.

d).        Plan weekly lessons.

e).        Perform all tasks within the rules and guidelines of the District’s safety and operational codes and programs.

f).         Follow, teach, and complete all guidelines in curriculum books provided to you.
